<p>PURPOSE:To develop a cathode of long life and high current density while improving its discharge property by forming a base metal in a plural number of laminated construction and making said construction to contain a part where concentration of a reading metal is closely akin to a specific relation. CONSTITUTION:A base metal has a plurality (m) of laminated construction while making concentration (y) of a reducing metal of the layer in the thickness direction referring to one face of the base metal to have a relation of yproportional x (1+A/m) provided that A is a positive number. For manufacturing said base metal, a plural number of Ni solid solution having different concentration or kinds of reducing metals are manufactured by the same method as the former one while being rolled down to the proper thickness respectively followed by being laminated to be rolled down and annealed in repetition for finally being formed in a laminated plate of 70-200mu. Further, a cathode is finished by the same method as the former one.</p> |
