PURPOSE:A device capable of putting a matter liable to cause decomposition, oxidation, change in color, etc., in the interior and storing it, wherein a solid, air-tight box is proved with a suction and exhaust valve capable of carrying out suction and exhaustion simply. CONSTITUTION:The side of the solid, air-tight box B is provided with the suction and exhaust valve A. When the main body 1 of the suction and exhaust valve A is connected to the connector D of the exhaust device C and the lever 31 of the suction and exhaust valve A is set at the exhaust indication position, the exhaust device C is operated, the interior of the air-tight box B is evacuated and when the lever 31 is set at the air-tight indication position, the interior of the air-tight box B can be kept hermetic in a vacuum state.
