PURPOSE:To move a transfer ribbon at a recording part in a constant manner in conformity with a recording amount, by directly controlling the feed quantity of the transfer ribbon by a take-up motor provided independently from a moving system for a carriage. CONSTITUTION:The take-up motor 32 is rotated in the direction of arrow, only at the time of recording. A carriage motor (stepping motor) (not shown) for moving a main body 1 of the carriage is rotated according to the recording amount, and the take-up motor 32 is rotates synchronously with the rotation of the carriage motor, whereby the feed quantity of the transfer ribbon R can be directly controlled, and the ribbon R at the recording part can be fed in conformity with the recording amount. |
