PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having high flame-retardancy and drip-resistance and excellent resistance to deterioration with heavy metal and thermal deterioration resistance, etc., by compounding specific amounts of a halogen-based flame-retardant, antimony trioxide, a crosslinking assistant and a specific thiophosphite. CONSTITUTION:(A) A polyolefin resin (e.g. polypropylene) is compounded with (B) 5-60(wt)% halogen-based flame-retardant having a melting point of >=270 deg.C (e.g. decabromodiphenyl oxide), (C) 100-10% antimony trioxide (based on the component B), (D) 0.5-15% crosslinking assistant (e.g. triallyl cyanurate), and (E) 0.05-5% thiophosphite selected from the compounds of formula I-formula IV [R1 is >=6C alkyl, etc.; R2 is -SR2', etc.; R3 is SR3', etc., R2' and R3' are >=6C alkyl, etc.; X is -(CH2)n-, etc.; n, m and l are 2-6] (e.g. trilauryl trithiophosphite). The sum of A-E is 100%. |
