PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled wire easily, by covering outer circumference of a Nb core material with a Cu pipe through a spacer, filling an Sn in gap between the core material and the pipe, applying area reduction working and diffusion heat treatment to the material. CONSTITUTION:The core material 1 made of Nb or mixed body of Nb and Cu, in which the spacer 2 made of thin Cu wire is wound spirally along the circumference at a suitable pitch, is inserted into the Cu pipe 3. Next, the molten Sn 4 is permeated and filled into the gap between the material 1 and the pipe 3 by pressure reducing or pressurarization means, to form a composite material 5. Next, the composite material 5 bundled and inserted in a Cu pipe 6, area reduction working is repeated by required number of times to prepare composite multicore wire, it is heat treated at about 600-750 deg.C to form Nb3Sn layer by diffusion reaction with Sn, on each surface of Nb being the material 1 respectively. In this way, working process of super conductive wire can be simplified.
