PURPOSE:To facilitate the production of a test-piece by finishing a sticking part between glass roving and resin to specific size. CONSTITUTION:The resin button 3 of the glass roving 2 formed by bundling many filaments is bound with a thread 5 at parts corresponding to both upper and lower ends of the resin button 3 so that the section is uniformly circular. A weight 6 is fitted to the tip side of this part and the roving is coated with resin. Then, the roving is suspended in a rubber cap 9 with the weight down and resin is injected into the rubber cap and cured. The cap is turned over and removed, a projection part 13 where the weight 6 is embedded is cut away, and the remaining resin button 3 is polished to specific size. The test-piece is easily obtained by this production method.
