PURPOSE:To efficiently release a molded product from a mold and consequently improve the productivity of the product by a structure wherein a mechanism part B is hingedly supported to a mechanism part A by insertingly fitting the inserting parts of inserts in the insertion holes of arm pieces and at the same time the hinged side of a frame is detachably held by energizing with holding pieces. CONSTITUTION:A release mechanism 1 consists of a mechanism part B, which is hingedly supported to a mechanism part A by insertingly fitting the inserting parts 7b of inserts 7 in the insertion holes 12a of arm pieces 12, and at the same time holding pieces 11, with which the hinge side of a frame 10 is detachably held by energizing. A molded product 6, which is foam-molded integrally with the mechanism part A of the release mechanism 1 in a mold 5, is released from a lower mold 2 by opening an upper mold in the state of being hingedly supported through the mechanism part B by an intermediate mold 8. At the same time, the frame 10 of the mechanism part B is released from the upper mold 3 against the holding force of holding pieces 11 by the action of the weight of the molded product and of the force resisting the mold release during the release of the mold. In addition, when the opening of the upper mold 3 proceeds further so as to let the molded product 6 take the upright position, the mechanism part B parts from the inserts 7 of the mechanism part A and the molded product 6 is released from the mold by turning over. |
