摘要 PURPOSE:To control the charging rate of a blast furnace raw material to a surge hopper so as to always maintain specified basicity of the raw material charged into a blast furnace in charging said material from plural storage tanks to the surge hopper by predicting the basicity by each layer of the material in each storage tank and the amt. thereof. CONSTITUTION:The blast furnace raw material fed from a raw material factory 1 by a raw material conveyor 2 is sampled and quickly analyzed at a sampling point 10, is weighed during traveling by a conveyor scale 11 and is put into each storage tank 3. The change of the basicity by each layer in the tanks 3 and the amt. thereof are stored in a device 9 for setting the feeding-out rate. The device 9 emits an instruction for the feeding-out rate from each tank 3 to an operation control device 8 in accordance with the storage so that the material is fed out, weighed 4 and is fed to a surge hopper 5. When the basicity does not agree with the calculation, the basicity is adjusted by the raw material from auxiliary raw material tanks 12. The raw material charged into the blast furnace is always maintained at the specified basicity by the above-mentioned method, by which the operation of the blast furnace is stabilized.
