摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality printing with uniform density color developing dots and a good resolution even at the time of low density printing by reducing the thickness of the resistors in the vicinity of the both ends of heat generating resistors which have a larger heat dissipation to the electrodes in comparison with the heat generating resistors in the central portion of the resistors which have a smaller heat dissipation. CONSTITUTION:If a fixed voltage is applied to the area between electrodes 1a and 1b, an electric current I flows in the arrow direction and heat generating resistors 2R generate heat. The heat generating resistors 2R consist of component resistors 2a-2e with different thicknesses in the longitudinal direction of the resistors (direction of the current), and their thickness in the largest at the center 2c of the heat generating resistors, and larger at 2b and 2d that are connected with 2c, and the thinnest at 2a and 2e that correspond to the ends of the heat generating resistors. The heat value per planar dimension of component resistors increases in the order of 2a(2e)>2b(2d)>2c, and it is the largest at the ends and the smallest at the center. On the other hand, the heat dissipating value increases in proportion with the distance to the both ends of the heat generating resistors that are connected with an electrode.
