摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To regenerate Mg(OH)2 without discarding a reaction product accompanied with the SOx absorption and to attain the resource economization by absorbing and removing SOx with an Mg(OH)2 aq. soln.l, thereafter allowing the soln. to react with CaCl2 to recover gypsum and allowing the produced MgCl2 to react with slaked lime. CONSTITUTION:Sox contained in an exhaust gas after the cooling and the dust removal is absorbed with the regenerated Mg(OH)2 slurry fed via a line 132. A blown liquid contg. the produced MgSO4 MgSO3 is allowed to react with a CaCl2 soln. fed via a line 129 in a gypsum production part 122 and both gypsum and CaSO3 are recovered in a gypsum separation part 124. A liquid contg. MgCl2 fed via a line 125 is allowed to react with Ca(OH)2 fed via a line 134 in an Mg(OH)2 production part 126 and the produced Mg(OH)2 is separated to solid and liquid in an Mg(OH)2 separation part 128 and made to the dehydrated cake and it is slurried in a slurry production part 131 and used for the SOx absorption via the line 132. The soln. contg. CaCl2 of the residual liquid of the separation part 128 is sent to a gypsum production part 122 via the line 129 and reutilized.</p>
