PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound under a mild condition in a short time in high yield and in high selectivity, by oxidizing an unsaturated hydrocarbon by using a conjugated complex consisting of a complex capable of forming an oxygen complex and a complex capable of forming an unsaturated hydrocarbon complex and water. CONSTITUTION:O2 is absorbed in a conjugated complex catalyst consisting of a complex shown by the formula MmXn L (M is metal of group I, group IV-VI or transition metal of iron group of group VIII; X is anion; L is nitrile compound; m and n are constants fixed depending upon valence balance; lis integer showing coordination number) and a complex shown by the formula M'm'Xn' L' (M' is transition metal belonging to the platinum group of VIII group; m' and n' are constants fixed depending upon valence balance; l' is integer showing coordination number) to give a complex of the complex I and O2 and an unsaturated hydrocarbon is absorbed in the conjugated complex to give a complex of the complex shown by the formula II and the unsaturated hydrocarbon, and both the complexes are reacted in the presence of water, to give an oxygen-containing organic compound. |
