The shuttering for a concrete structure has at least one wall consisting of one or more plastic panels (16) each provided with means (17) to secure it to a reinforcing cage (12,13) such that the panel remains in position when subjected to the pressure of the poured concrete. The fixing means are shaped such that the panels can move in their own plane relative to the reinforcement and each pref. consist of an L-shaped hook (17) with a portion fixed and at right angles to the panel and a portion parallel thereto to engage behind a reinforcing bar (12). The panels are pref. extruded using re-cycled plastic consisting of poly-alkylenes with more than 70% polythene.
