PURPOSE:To provide the titled mixed refrigerant having markedly an improved coefficient of performance (evaporating ability/power), prepd. by mixing dichlorofluoromethane with bromotrifluoromethane in a specified blend ratio. CONSTITUTION:The mixed refrigerant consists of a high-boiling dichlorodifluoromethane and low-boiling bromotrifluoromethane in a blend ratio of 30/70-70/30 by weight. A preferred condition of use in which temperature difference (DELTATc) is about 5 deg.C is attained when bromotrifluoromethane is used in an amount of 30-70wt% and within this range, the coefficient of performance (evaporating ability/power) remains almost constant and maximum, leading to about 15-20% improvement as compared with the coefficient of performance in case of single use of dichlorodifluoromethane. |
