发明名称 VOLTAGE DROP DETECTION CIRCUIT FOR MEMORY HOLDING BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To elevate the reliability of an information processor while preventing the vanishment of the memory contents of a memory, by slightly delaying the start of charging of a battery when the power source is closed to detect drop in the voltage drop in the battery in advance. CONSTITUTION:The power source is closed and when a voltage control signal is inputted indicating that the driving voltage fed to component members containing a memory section 8 from a power source circuit 2 rises to a prescribed value, an information processor 3 starts. A switching transistor 12 inserted into a charging path from the power source circuit 2 of the battery conducts after being delayed by a fixed time from a voltage control signal input time with a delay circuit comprising a resistance 14, a capacitor 15, a transistor 16 and a resistance 17. Then, a comparator circuit 23 compares the terminal voltage of the battery 18 to the charging start time of the battery 18 from the voltage control signal input time with the lower limit allowable voltage. When the terminal voltage is below the lower limit allowable voltage, the drop in the battery voltage is shown on an LED30.
