PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a dimming plate and to prevent the inside of a reflector from temperature rise by rotating the leading end part of a dimming plate turned to the aperture part of the reflector by tightening/loosening a screw to attain dimming. CONSTITUTION:The dimming plate 20 is rotated around a supporting point O1 by tightening/loosening the screw 21 to close/opn an optical path to be transmitted through the aperture part 4 in the direction to a setting plate 7 and to control the quantity of light. Since the dimming plate 20 is only rotated, it nis unnecessary to increase its width and the size can be reduced. In addition, the length of the dimming plate 20 to be projected to te aperture part 4 is not changed in accordance with dimming due to the rotation of the dimming plate 20, so that the aperture part 4 is not blocked and the escape of heat discharged from a pipe-like electric bulb 6 is improved. Consequently, the inside of the reflector can be prevented from temperature rise, the life of the device can be expanded and the reflector body 1 can be prevented from thermal change.
