PURPOSE:To increase the target detection distance securing the angular velocity tracking capacity necessary for the tracking of a target, by providing a time constant varying low pass filter and a time constant controller to change the time constant of the filter according to target distance. CONSTITUTION:When an antenna 1 is directed to a target, the error angle as deviation between the target and the center axis of the antenna 1 is obtained from an error angle detector 3 to be fed to a time constant varying filter 9. At this point, when the speed of the target is slow with a large distance to the target, the time constant of the filter 9 is increased with a time constant controller 10 while the time constant is set small when the speed is fast with a small distance thereto. The output of the filter 9 is fed to a controller of a missile and a servo amplifier 5 to be integrated and amplified and then, to an antenna driving mechanism 6 to move the antenna 1 so that the difference between the target and the center axis of the antenna 1 will be zero thereby turning the center axis thereof to the target. As a target tracking unit tracks the target, the missile is fired. At the same time, the target tracking performance is secured by lessening the time constant of the filter 9 with the controller 10.
