PURPOSE:To grasp the degree of curing of an insulator, by sampling a gas generated from a thermosetting insulator by absorption and determining the concentration of ionic components in the absorbed gas sample. CONSTITUTION:A thermosetting insulator (e.g., an amine epoxy resin to which BF3 is added) 2 is placed in the body of a curing oven 1 and is cured by heating by applying a current to a heater 13 while supplying air from air inlets 11. The major part of the gas is discharged through a gas passage provided with a gas treatment apparatus 12. In a stage near to the completion of curing, the gas generated from insulator 2 is absorbed and dissolved in a gas absorption part 3, led to an injection part 4 and analyzed by means of an ion chromatograph 5 to determine its ionic component concentrations and to thereby judge whether curing is performed sufficiently or not. |
