PURPOSE:To line the inner surface of a metallic pipe by connecting a powder tank to one end of the pipe, putting a lid on the other end, raising the tank while rotating the tank on its axis, then rotating, oscillating and turning the pipe on its axis in a vertical plane and then lowering the tank. CONSTITUTION:In lining the inner surface of a metallic pipe with plastic powder, a tank 1 is connected to one end of a horizontal pipe 10 with a fitting 16, a lid 18 is put on the other end, the tank 1 is raised while turning the tank on its axis with the axis of the pipe 10 as the center, powder is packed into the pipe 10 and the pipe 10 is rotated, oscillated and turned on its axis for a specified time in the vertical plane including the axis of the pipe. Then the tank 1 is lowered and the remaining powder is returned to the inside of the tank 1. Consequently, all parts of the inner surface of the pipe can be lined with the plastic powder.
