<p>PURPOSE:To enable to obtain the color filter with an optional shape by preparing a part not forming the color filter on a transparent electrode, even if being located the transparent electrode, by providing an insulating resist film on the transparent electrode in a pattern-wise, via various steps of coating a photoresist, drying, exposing and developing it before forming the color filter on the transparent electrode according to an electrocoating method. CONSTITUTION:The transparent electrode 2 composed of an indium oxide is formed on the transparent electrode 1. The resist film 8 is formed on the transparent electrode 2 via the steps of coating the resist, drying, exposing and developing it to pattern the color filter formed according to the electrocoating method. And then, when a voltage is impressed to the transparent electrode 2 in the electrocoating bath, the color filter is not formed on the resist film 8 and the color filter 3R, for example, is formed on only the exposed part of the transparent electrode 2. And then, the first color is completed by removing the resist film 8. Further, when the green colored color filter is formed as the 2nd, color, the transparent electrode 2 is exposed only the part electrocoated the 2nd, color, and then is electrocoated. Similarly, the color filters 3R, 3G and 3B having the optional shape are formed on the transparent electrode 2.</p> |
