PURPOSE:To retrieve a new telephone number with a personal name, etc., and to execute an exchange service even when the telephone number is changed by storing corresponding to the incidental information such as the personal name and the name of a department and a section and the telephone number. CONSTITUTION:When the personal name is inputted, first, the special number to indicate the effect is dialed. Then, an input signal discriminating part 31 identifies it and sends it to a retrieving control part 32. Continuously, the personal name inputted through a keyboard 4 is sent through the retrieving control part 32 to a file control part 61 and a coincidence detecting part 62. The coincidence detecting part 62 retrieves a dictionary file 51 and extracts the telephone number corresponding to the inputted personal name. When the telephone number, which is a purpose, is extracted from the dictionary file 51, the telephone number is sent to the file control part 61. The file control part 61 controls an exchange control part 35 by the received telephone number, calls a telephone set 2, which is a purpose, and connects an originating side telephone set 1. |
