PURPOSE:To provide a sizing compsn. for sizing cellulosic fiber cheese, which penetrates into the interior of the fiber and allows the sizing of the inner and outer layers of cheese to be evenly conducted, consisting of a water-soluble dicyandiamide/formalin resin soln. and a cationic starch sizing soln. CONSTITUTION:20-80% (on a solid basis) water-soluble dicyandiamide/formalin resin soln. is mixed with 80-20% (on a solid basis) cationic starch sizing soln. of formula I or II (wherein R is a 1-3C alkyl) to obtain a sizing compsn. The compsn. is used as a treating soln. having a concn. of 5-40% to conduct the sizing of cellulosic fiber cheese at 20-80 deg.C. |
