PURPOSE:To bring the state into the reproducing state instantly by allowing a switch state discriminating means to read respectively when a power switch is closed and a cover open/close switch is closed or opened, to write the information to a memory means or to erase the content of the memory means thereby closing a reproducing switch. CONSTITUTION:When the power switch 1 is closed and the cover open/close switch 2 is opened, the switch state discrimination means 5 operates a memory erasure means 10 and a display erasure means 11 to erase a memory means 8 and the display of a display means 9 at the same time. When the cover open/ close switch 2 is closed, the TOC information read means 6 is operated to write the read information to the memory means 8 via the memory write means 7 and to display the information to the memory means 8. Thus, the state is brought immediately the reproduction state.
