PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a space, to reduce the size of a camera and to improve assembling property and maneuverability by forming the section of an outer cylinder surrounding lens barriers like a circle and arranging a shutter driving device between the barrier and a shutter. CONSTITUTION:The section of the outer cylinder 16 surrounding the lens barriers 28, 29 is formed like a circle and the shutter driving device 11 for driving a shutter blade 12 is arranged around a main optical sytem between the barriers 28, 29 and the shutter blade 12 to be used also as a diaphragm. Consequently, the efficiency of the space can be improved and the size can be reduced. Since the section of the outer cylinder 16 is a circle, light shielding can be precisely attained even if the main optical system is moved remarkably at the switching of a focal distance. In addition, an optical system moving mechanism, the shutter 12, the driving device 11, and a lens barrier device are unitedly formed, so that assembling is made easy and the reliability and maneuverability of the camera can be improved.
