DISC HOLDER OF COMPACT DISC PLAYER

PURPOSE:To attain thin profile of the titled holder by adopting the constitution that a disc loaded on a turntable is clipped between a buffer member stretached to the face of a magnet and a disc holder part of the turntable while the cover is closed by means of the absorbing force of the magnet. CONSTITUTION:The turntable 21 is constituted by fitting an alignment ring 23 to the center tip concentrically to a spindle shaft 22 of a motor, a disc guide 24 around the ring and a disc holder 25 around the guide. A cover 28 is fitted freely switchingly to the main body. A ring magnet 35 has a center hole having a diameter larger than the outer diameter of the guide 24 and a felt 36 is stretched to a face opposed to the holder 25. A magnet case 36 fitted with the magnet 35 is held freely to the inner face of the cover 28. The disc 27 mounted on the table 21 is clipped between the felt 36 and the holder 25 by the attracting force of the magnet 35 while the cover 28 is closed. A part of the ring 23 and the guide 24 is fitted in the center hole of the magnet 35, the thickness of the player is made thin and miniaturization is attained.
