The growth promoters, for rearing animals e.g. pigs, calves and poultry, for human consumption, are made by charging a mixer with a moist paste of 2-formyl quinoxaline 1,4-dioxide cyanoacetyl hydrazone with particle size 2-16 and contg. 35-42% water, an antibiotic and/or sulphonamide component, e.g. phthalazole or sulphadimidine, finely-ground, and with auxiliaries and vehicles, e.g., finely ground calcium carbonate. Mixing is continued until homogeneous, at a temp. not exceeding 60 deg.C. |
