Method for manufacturing a wire cable which has a central core cord around which are rolled outer cords. Spacer cords are located in the hollows between said core cord and the outer cords in order to make said hollows uniform. A covering, generally a suitable thermoplastic, is extruded inside said cable in order to provide a spacer between said core and the aforesaid outer cords and between the adjacent outer cords.
