PURPOSE:To synchronize the oscillating frequency of a converter with the frequency of a pulse control signal with a simple structure by applying the pulse control signal of the prescribed frequency externally from a main switching element, and controlling the switching state of the main element. CONSTITUTION:A pulse control signal having the prescribed frequency is applied, for example, from a reference oscillator 5 provided externally to the main switching element 3 of a ringing choke converter (RCC) 1. Thus, the switching state of the main switching element is controlled to synchronize the oscillating frequency of an RCC 1 with the frequency of the pulse control signal. |
