PURPOSE:To make sure opening or closing of a gas vent passage through connecting or disconnecting of a charging adapter, by not only fixing an O ring for closing a gas vent passage on to a housing in contact with an outer circumferential surface of a pin but also setting up a deformed part on the pin with a form different from the inner circumferential one of the O ring. CONSTITUTION:A projecting part of a positive electrode terminal pin 31 is made water-proof in such a way that an O ring 33 fixed on a housing (1) with a retainer plate 34 gets in contact with a circumferential surface. While as for another negative electrode terminal pin 40a, it is similarly made water-proof by getting the O ring 46 fixed on the housing 1 with a retainer plate 47 to make contact with an outer circumferential surface. In this connection, the negative electrode terminal pin 40a is made to be a deformed part with a section from different from a circle, forming an inner circumference of the O ring 46, by setting up a notch 40e long in the direction of its axis extending over from the middle to the tip. In this way, the gas vent passage can be opened when the deformed part comes to be positioned inside the O ring by sliding motion of the pin. |
