PURPOSE:To make easier a centering operation by providing a mark for laser light irradiation to a constituting member of a robot, etc. and centering an optical guide device and the robot by visual observation so that the center of the laser light for adjustment irradiates the mark for laser light irradiation. CONSTITUTION:The mark P for laser light irradiation is preliminarily provided atop the 2nd arm 23 which is the constituting member of the robot R positioned on the extention of a turning axial line A1 of a swiveling base 21 while the robot R exists in the home position. To make the centering operation, the operator removes the part forward from the 2nd optical joint of the optical guide device G, stops the 2nd arm 23 of the robot R in the home position and oscillates the laser light L for adjustment. The laser light L is irradiated past the 1st optical axis B1 on the neiborhood of the mark P on the 2nd arm 23. The operator fixed a fixing base 20 by means of mounting bolts 13 after making the centering operation so that the irradiation center of the light 1 aligns exactly to the mark P. |
