PURPOSE:To increase the solibility of solute and the conductivity of electrolyte by using a mixed solvent of gamma-BL, DME, and a compound with a uron ring. CONSTITUTION:In an organic electrolyte battery using an electrolyte comprising organic solvents and one or more solutes, a compound having a uron ring is used as an organic solvent. For example, metallic lithium used as a negative electrode 2 and poly carbon monofluoride used as active material of a positive electrode 1 are closely faced with a polypropylene nonwoven fabric interposed between them, and they are accommodated in a container 5. An electrolyte 4 is poured in the container and impregnated into the positive mix by vacuum impregnation. Tetrahydro-3-methyl-5-isobutyl-4H-1,3,5-oxadiazine-4-one in which LiBF4 is dissolved as electrolyte is mixed to a mixed solvent of gamma-BL and DME. This solution is used as the electrolyte of the battery. |
