PURPOSE:To prevent the salability of a fluid seal ring from lowering during temperature change, by making the outer diameter of a fluororesin seal ring larger than the bore diameter a cylinder by a predetermined rate. CONSTITUTION:Fluid seal rings 1, 2 are fitted in ring grooves 4 formed in the outer peripheral surface of a rotary shaft 3 disposed in a cylinder 6. The outer diameter of the rings 1, 2 is made to be larger than the bore diameter of the cylinder by about 0.1-0.8%, and therefore, even if the rings 1, 2 contract due to temperature change, the entire peripheral surface of each ring is prevented from being separated from the inner surface of the cylindrical bore, thereby it is possible to sustain the salability of the fluid seal ring. |
