DEVICE FOR RECOVERING ELECTRODEPOSITION PAINT

PURPOSE:To eliminate defective painting and to improve the recovering rate of an electrodepostion paint by removing the electrodeposition paint leaking from the space between the revolving shaft and bearing of a circulation pump by an aq. soln. added with a solvent or acid and recovering such electrodeposition paint together with the aq. soln. into a recovering tank. CONSTITUTION:The electrodepositon paint in an electrodeposition tank is circulated by flowing, as shown by an arrow A, into the impeller 21 of the circulation pump 7 provided to a passage for circulating the electrodeposition paint and flowing out thereof as shown by an arrow B. Part of the electrodeposition paint passes through the slight space between the revolving shaft 20 and the bearing 19 and leaks to the outside peripheral surface of the shaft 20 exposed in an inside chamber 22 of a housing. An open end 23 of a filtrate introducing pipe 17 is thereupon disposed above the shaft 20 in the chamber 22 and the aq. soln. added with the solvent or acid is supplied from the pipe 17. The aq. soln. in which the leaking electrodeposition paint is recovered flows out into a spout 21 and is recovered into the recovering tank 26.
