MANUFACTURE OF PIPE FOR HEAT EXCHANGE

PURPOSE:To replace only spacers when a some part of spacers are broken and to repair them simply and quickly by making a spacer positioning base and spacers from respective separated members. CONSTITUTION:A slit 25 for a fine 20 is formed on the upper half of a flat platelike spacer 17 into a large top shape in the elongating direction of the spacer 17 and a slit for a pipe insertion hole 21 of the fin 20 is formed into a large top shape. The lower part of the spacer 17 is inserted into grooves made on a spacer positioning base 11 at regular intervals with prescribed spaces. The fin 20 is inserted into the spacer 17 so that the pipe insertion hole 21 is inserted into the slit for the hole 21 and the top end of the fin 20 is supported. After insertion of a pipe body 13 for heat exchange into the hole 21 of the fins 20, the pipe body 13 is expanded to fix to the fins 20 and is bent into a snaky shape to arrange the fins 20 in plural rows and in parallel to each other.
