PURPOSE:To provide the titled automatic determination and classification apparatus, capable of classifying laver sheets surely at a high speed, by combining a conveyor to transfer the laver sheet one by one in a flatly spread state, a device for determining the quality of the sheet, a device for determining the color and luster of the sheet, and a device for classification. CONSTITUTION:In the device 1 for the determination of the quality, the dimensions, hole, flaw and breakage of the laver sheet 2 contacted closely to a net- like endless belt 7 and transferred intermittently one by one to the right hand of the figure, are determined, and in the device 20 for determining the color and luster, the color and the luster of the sheet 2 transferred by the belt 25 are measured. The sheet is classified by quality according to the information transmitted from the devices 1 and 20. Thereafter, in the calssifying device 30 (the sign 32 is plural conveyors for classification), the laver sheet 2 transported by the belt 35 is transferred to the classification conveyor 32 corresponding to the degree of the sheet by the ascending air stream when the sheet reaches the position under the conveyor 32. At the same time, the conveyor 32 is operated to deliver the laver sheet 2 to the direction perpendicular to the former direction. |
