The process for producing a temperature-resistant material, in particular for use in machine engineering and tool engineering, is based on fundamental elements also used for ceramic materials. Hydrogen-free radical carriers, which have at least two chemically bound atoms of the fundamental element and radicals at the ends, are formed from the fundamental elements. Radical carriers with radicals, in which the chemical affinity between the radicals is greater than that of a radical to a radical carrier are dissolved in an inert solvent. The radicals are caused to react. Insoluble dispersed fundamental element chains are formed from the radical carriers in the solvent, and reaction products dissolved in the inert solvent are formed from the radicals. The fundamental element chains are recovered as the basis for the temperature-resistant material. |
