PURPOSE:To obtain precisely and economically sintered silicon iron parts having intricate shapes by forming individual blank materials by compacting from a raw material consisting of silicon iron contg. silicon at a specified compounding ratio and pure iron and combining these materials then sintering the same. CONSTITUTION:The silicon iron powder 2 contg. 8-18% silicon and the pure iron powder 3 are mixed and the raw material 4 adjusted to 1-5% silicon content is prepd. The individual unit blank materials 1a, 1b divided to a plurality are compacted by using such raw material 4. The materials 1a, 1b are combined to form a complete assembly 1 and thereafter the assembly is sintered. The unit materials 1a, 1b are fused at the joint part 1' to form the desired complete assembly 1. A notched shape 11 is easily and exactly formed as well.
