PURPOSE:To improve sealing property between a hood and a body by placing the rear end of a rear hood lower than a belt line, and fixing and sealing it with a peripheral-part hood spreading link when a collapsible pillar is erected, in the captioned device of a fully openable car. CONSTITUTION:A hood installing plate 54 is provided on the rear wall of a housing part 18 having a construction of closed section, consisting of an outer panel 51 and an inner panel 52, and the rear end 15c of a rear hood 15 is fixed to it. Thereby, the rear end installing position of a hood 15 comes to a lower position than the upper edge of a body. And, a seal 53 is installed on the upper edge part of the closed-section construction. When a collapsible pillar 13 is erected in a hood spreading position as shown in the figure, a peripheral-part hood spreading link 30 is accompanyingly moved upward. And a rear side link 31 comes in pressure contact with a seal 53 to fix and seal the hood 15. When the collapsible pillar 13 is brought down, the link 31 comes in the dotted line position releasing the hood 15 from a tight hold. By this construction, the sealing property between the body and the hood can be improved.
