PURPOSE:To prevent an increase in switches accompanied by multi-item control, and thereby simplify control operation, by selecting a control mode while seeing a display and adjusting a seat by increment and decrement switches. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, a present seat position and a mode are indicated on a CRT display 6 under an initial condition of the device. When a plus key or a minus key of a mode selection switch 4 is pushed, a cursor A positioned on a select menu is moved. A CPU 1 determines a specific control mode at the moving position of the cursor A, and specifies each driving circuit of a selector unit according to the control mode to make one of motors and solenoids into a drive waiting condition. When an operator pushes increment and decrement switches 5, the seat is displaced, and such a displacement is detected by a sensor 7. The CPU 1 reads a signal from the sensor 7 and indicates the displacement on the CRT display 6 in the form of an image change of the seat.
