PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent the occurrence of irregularity of density in the direction of sub-scanning and the influences of dark current by providing a gate in the route of data transfer from a solid-state image pickup element to a printer, and opening and closing a gate by a signal having a period longer than synchronous signal of scanning of the solid-state image pickup element and shorter than the period of scanning of the printer. CONSTITUTION:A transfer gate 6 is made on from the time of coming out of the first CCD synchronous pulse Hc after resetting from a shift timing circuit 2 to the time of coming out of the second CCD synchronous pulse Hc. Accordingly, data accumulated up to that time in a CCD image sensor 1 are transferred to a printer at the time of main scanning of the printer immediately after. Consequently, the period of accumulation Ts of transferred picture data is the time Tc after arrival of printer synchronous pulse Hp, and this is constant. As accumulation as dummy until the arrival of next printer synchronous pulse Hp, transfer to a shift register, sending out from the shift register etc. are repeated after transfer as well, the problem of dark current due to the prolongation of time of accumulation is not caused. |
