The movable components, such as the coffee feed (14), the upper piston (15) and the lower piston (16) are driven by means of a single raiseable and lowerable toothed rack (17). The latter is situated above a yoke (18), is connected both to the upper piston (15) and to the coffee feed (14) and when it is raised comes into engagement (20, 29) with the lower piston (16). The coffee feed (14) is pivotably driven by means of a pivot rod (19) which extends parallel to the drive rod (17). A helical drive (24, 25) is situated between the said drive rod (19) and the yoke (18). When the yoke (18) is moved along the pivot rod (19), the latter is pivoted, causing the coffee feed (14) to be pivoted as well. The lower piston (16) is lowered by the upper piston (15) driven by the yoke (18). The lower piston (16) is raised by means of a stop (20) of the drive rod (17). <IMAGE>
