PURPOSE:To enhance storage stability of a magenta dye by incorporating silver halide grains contg. silver iodide in the layer nearest to an antihalation layer and processing an imagewise exposed and developed specified silver halide color photographic sensitive material with a processing solution capable of bleaching silver. CONSTITUTION:The photographic constituent layers comprising the antihalation layer contg. black colloid silver, and blue-sensitive, green-sensitive, and red- sensitive silver halide emulsion layers are formed on a support, and silver halide grains contg. silver iodide are contained in one of the silver halide emulsion layers nearest to the antihalation layer. The total thickness of the photographic constituent layers is <=25mum, and the photosensitive material contains a magenta coupler in the silver halide emulsion layer usually, in an amt. of 0.005-2mol, preferably, 0.01-1mol per mol of silver halide, and it is imagewise exposed and developed, and then, processed with a processing solution contg. peroxide as a bleaching agent, and capable of bleaching silver. |
