The invention relates to a harrow with alternating inclined fixed teeth. The harrow is characterised in that it comprises six cross members 2 each of which carries a series of identical teeth 4 inclined on the same side, two consecutive cross members carrying teeth inclined in opposite directions, by a same degree, the spacing between two consecutive teeth of any cross member being constant, whilst the homologous teeth of each cross member are alternately laterally offset, from the first cross member to the last, by a distance which increases from upstream towards downstream until it reaches a half gap between two consecutive teeth, the gaps between the first three cross members being substantially greater than the gaps between the last four cross members.
