Device for eliminating the strings of a guitar over the belly. The invention relates to a device enabling a string to be embedded on the belly of the instrument 1. Beneath said string an electronic system is installed that is sensitive to finger pressure on the string 1. This string is connected electronically to a set of conventional strings which are maintained at tension by means of keys inside two bridges moulded in the resonating body of the instrument 2, 4. The sounds come from an electronic sound synthesizing system similar to keyboard-type synthesizers 5. A set of LEDs located on the belly provide a visual presentation of a melody with its accompaniment by means of a musical minicomputer 3. <IMAGE>
