PURPOSE:To form a deep store space and obtain a large stowage area by forming a monolithic pipe shape part in a longitudinal direction with thin portions as part of a console box body bent. CONSTITUTION:A console box 3 comprises a console box body 23, a top plate 16, a lid 17, a rear wall 18 and a store space bottom 19. Said body 23 is so formed that each component of a predetermined shape elongates in the longitudinal direction of the body 23, and that it will have an inverted U-shape, with its right side wall 10 bent along a bendable thin portion 9. Furthermore, divisions 7 and 13 and 180 deg. bent inward along bendable thin portions 6 and 12, thereby forming pipe shape parts 15 and 15. The top plate 16 is fitted to the predetermined position of the body 23 and the rear wall 18 fitted to the rear part thereof, forming the store space 21, together with right and left side walls 4 and 10. The upper opening of the space so formed is closed with the lid 17.
