PURPOSE:To make it possible to release a lock by an easy operation by disposing a slider on the depth side of the main body of the cooking apparatus in an inclined state. CONSTITUTION:A slider 18 is inclined on the depth side of the main body of the cooking apparatus. Hence, a large space is obtained between the tip end of a button portion 16 and the lower end of the slider 18, and thus it is possible to release the restriction imposed on a lever 17 and to enlarge as much as the outer control or the lever 17. Accordingly, not only distance between a power-point B and a working point C can be set largely but also a distance X between a rotating fulcrum A and the working point can be made sufficiently large with respect to a distance Y between the rotating fulcrum A and the working point. As a result, it is possible to release the lock by a small operational power amount, and the lock releasing operation can be carried out by an easy operation.
