A crank for a crank drive has an effective length, which can be varied during rotation of the crank by means of a guide spindle for adjusting the length of the crank. The crank is made of a basic U-shaped profile section, on which is fitted a cover profile section for enclosing the basic profile section and for reinforcing this, the profile sections being integrally connected to one another. The parts of the crank are supported by ball bearings, and jamming of the balls during the up and down movement of the crank is prevented by a special ball guide. In a specially designed crank drive with specially designed eccentric bearings, torsion forces are absorbed in that the guide spindle is supported on the crank. <IMAGE> |
