An arrangement for producing a hollow in a cast concrete construction and for protecting reinforcing irons for connecting this construction to at least one further concrete construction comprises a rail 2, 3a, 3b which can be cast into the first-mentioned concrete construction and which, together with a cover strip 4, forms a space for reinforcing irons 12, 13, 23, 24 which are guided through the wall of the rail. At least the rail 2, 3a, 3b consists of plastic material which is designed with portions 5-7 for perforation of the plastic material by means of the reinforcing irons 12, 13, 23, 24. The rail and the strip 4 are produced in one piece to form a profile consisting preferably of plastic. <IMAGE>
