PURPOSE:To enhance the load rising following property of a flue smoke denitration apparatus, by raising the temp. of exhaust gas in the upstream side of a denitration reactor at the time of the rising in load (amount of exhaust gas, NOx-concn.) of boiler exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION:NH3 is injected in exhaust gas from a boiler from an NH3 injection apparatus to decompose NOx in exhaust gas into N2 and H2O through the catalyst in a denitration reactor. When the preceding signal of the rising in load was received, the temp. of exhaust gas to be treated in denitration is raised by a temp. control apparatus such as an economizer bypass duct. The necessary NH3 adsorbing amount by the catalyst becomes small by raising the temp. of said exhaust gas but, by especially raising said temp. to high one at the time of the change in load, the necessary NH3 adsorbing amount at the time of the change in load becomes extremely low and the time required before the adsorbing amount reaches equilibrium is reduced. Therefore, predetermined capacity becomes easy to obtain and the amount of NOx at the outlet of a reactor at the time of the change in load is prevented from largely exceeding the usual concn. |
