FLUIDIZED BED BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To enable stable operation, by providing an inclined partition wall having a large number of openings having a size passing solid particles but incapable of passing air bubbles in a tank and forming a solit-liquid two-phase part and a solid-gas-liquid three-phase part. CONSTITUTION:Solid particles subjected to the adhesion of bacteria are received in a tank and held to a fluidized state by raw water and air flowed in the lower part of the tank 2 from piping 1. A partion plate 7 having a large number of openings having a size capable of passing a liquid are solid particles but incapable of passing air bubbles is arranged to the upper part of the tank 2 so as to be inclined at a suitable angle. The flooded particles are passed through the openings of the partition wall along with a liquid stream to be flowed in a solid-liquid two-phase fluidized part B. Air bubbles incapable of passing the openings are upwardly transferred along the partition wall while being made confluent and exhausted out of the tank 2 from a gas exhaust part 4.
