PURPOSE:To perform rational charging adapted to the watching and hearing purpose of a user by executing the charging processing with time and executing the charging processing each time when contents of a watched and heard program are changed. CONSTITUTION:During reception of programs of the time pay per view mode, a CPU 23 not only transmits an audio output signal AUDIO and a video output signal VIDEO obtained by descrambling reproducing of an audio processor 22 and a video processor 24 but also accumulates the rate corresponding to the time of watshing and hearing in a charging memory 28. When this reception of programs of the time pay per view mode is stopped, a pay per view switch 4 is turned off. When programs to which the program pay per view mode where each program is charged are watched and heard, the pay per view switch 4 of a turner is turned on. If the watched and heard program is switched to another, the CPU 23 detects it to execute the charging processing of the charging memory 28. |
